I want to build a website…..?

I want build a website that provides open source softwares & some premium softwares, wallpapers, music, video, movie reviews, FAQs on computers, mini chat rooms, advertisements ……etc(and some more)…………..I have also purchased a good website builder “EZ-Generator”…and i have been working on it since the last week.
But i am ignorant about the legal procedures i have to advance through to host open source softwares, music…..etc or for any other rules that have to be followed to host my website…..
I have to know all this because, i dont want to get accused for any crimes.
Can any one make me understand these procedures in detail???
I would also like to know how can i make money through my wesite(in detail)…….

Your going to have to be granted permission to redistribute any copyrighted software(s) unless it is expressly written on their site that the software is free to distribute. Luckily with open source software most developers encourage the re-distribution of their programs as long as you do not charge money, ask for donations and/or modify the software in any way. If I were you I would read the terms and agreements of each piece of software you wish to host.

As far as everything else, use common sense. “Freedom of speech” you can write/post whatever you want as long as your not breaking laws.
